Journey Called Mysoft - MYSOFT

Hi, My Name is Ulhas Joshi

I live at Thane ,  which is a very large cultural metropolis just at the border of Mumbai  , commercial capital of India.

I did my education in chemical engineering and my first job was with Thermax Chemicals

It was a very nice job but I always wanted to pursue my own business. So I started my first venture to manufacture Chemicals 200 kms from Mumbai. At 28 and with very little or zero experience of running business , I failed miserbly and had to shut down.

When I was sitting alone with a very depressed mood of failure , I was approached by chairman of a large bank in my town for work. He was knowing me from my young days and wanted my help in developing a computer program for a sick chemical unit he just took over.

I was very good at computers but did not have any knowledge of programming.

First Software I built was FoxPro based

I learned FoxPro . It was a very satisfying self learning process and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could develop a Invoicing software for the first customer of my software business in less than 30 days and he was extremely happy

And Mysoft was born

I eventually started developing Invoicing Software for many Manufacturers and SME Business and was very happy with my business

But the real journey began when I came across MS Access 2003

Learning Access was the most important turning point in my life. I was back then approached by a large multi national in a industrial area near my town to develop a Inventory control software for tracking Raw Materials delivery challans with their Job Workers. It was a very tough Assignment and I finally completed it in record time and after it came series of work built around MS Access. Access 2007 is by far the most stable and powerful version I used and still more than 100 odd installations of Mysoft are in MS Access 2007

And the Journey Continues.............
